Environment & Climate Change Open House

On Tuesday April 12, City Planning will be hosting two virtual open house sessions to review and discuss draft Official Plan policy updates related to the environment and climate change. Draft policies were approved for consultation by the Planning and Housing Committee on March 25, 2022 (Item PH 32.6). The draft policies are intended to bring the Official Plan in conformity with the Growth Plan (2020); the Provincial Policy Statement (2020); the Greenbelt Plan (2017); and the Food and Organic Waste Policy Statement (2018). They also address City Council direction to support recommendations in the Net Zero Strategy and the 2019 declaration of a Climate Emergency.

  • Tuesday April 12 – 3:00pm-4:30pm

  • Tuesday April 12 – 6:30pm-8:00pm
