The City of Toronto has launched Music 311, a new initiative that brings the music of Toronto artists to the 311 phone system.
Music 311 has been launched to coincide with the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games and features music from Toronto artists when 311 callers are on hold.
The inaugural tracks were contributed by musician members of the Toronto Music Advisory Council – Amanda Martinez, Jay Douglas, Miranda Mulholland and Murray Foster.
Music 311 is now accepting submissions from Toronto-based artists interested in having their songs considered for playback. Submission guidelines and more details on the Music 311 program can be found at http://www.toronto.ca/music.
