What: Dramatic reading of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol

When: Sunday, December 11, 7 p.m.

Lakeshore area residents are invited to celebrate the festive season with the Sirius Theatrical Company and Charles Dickens.  Now a Christmas tradition across the country, a dramatic reading of CBC’s version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be presented on Sunday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m., in the Studio Theatre at Mimico Presbyterian Church, 119 Mimico Avenue, in Etobicoke (south east corner of Royal York Rd., and Mimico Avenue.)

 

Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students (10 - 16 years), plus a non-perishable food item.   All proceeds benefit the Sirius Theatrical Company Scholarship and Bursary Fund for local children, in true Dickens’ fashion.  Food items benefit local food banks.

 

A Christmas Carol features well-known actresses  Rosemary Dunsmore and Marianne McIsaac, and Lakeshore residents Scott Collie, Susan Nagy, Karen Shue and John Watson.  Jerry Smith hosts the evening.  VOICES IN TIME and pianist / composer Frank Horvat provide musical accompaniment.
